About Us

Introducing DevAfrica Institute

Preamble : For decades, undoubtedly, the African continent has consistently pursued and sought for strategies and mechanisms for self-improvement and its relatedness in a bid to mitigate the over dependence and reliance on foreign direct investments emanating from developed economies consisting of those from the West and the South. In spite of this initiative birthing the millennium and sustainable development goals to balance the scales in the realms of development with the aim of combating extreme levels of recorded poverty within the region, the region is still drowning in massive underdevelopment.

Amidst all efforts to improve living standards mostly by utilizing funds in the form of long and short term loans from the WorldBank, IMF, the Chinese Economy among significant others to cushion action on developmental projects, close to very little progress is made.

We strive to be committed to the students we are privileged to serve, in our alumni association, our dedicated, talented faculty and staff. We also take pride in having the most active and helpful group of partners, visionary parents, well-wishers, alumni and friends.

Aims and Partners/ Partnering Institutions in the Realms of Research Collaborations

In the light of the above, DevAfrica Institute, mainly seeks to delve deeper on investigating into the nexus of various variables constituting the model of development in the context of Africa. It seeks to find meaning into the reasons as to why in spite of several efforts by various governments, policy restructuring and initiatives amidst funding of major projects from developed economies, the African continent is still dwindling in heightened levels of unimaginable poverty ratios and underdevelopment.

DevAfrica Institute is set for innovative research and developmental projects in collaboration with various institutions across the globe including the People’s Republic of China , the UK , the USA , South Africa , Nigeria and Local Government of Ghana.
